Mooncor is an exploration and development company concentrating on high-impact, domestic oil and gas projects. Its main focus is the 103,000 acre liquids-rich Muskwa/Duvernay shale gas project at Hamburg, Alberta (NI 51-101 compliant report outlines Contingent + Prospective resources of up to 10.57 trillion cubic feet of gas in place, and up to 2.57 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas). Mooncor's pilot well at Hamburg indicates some 60% of the value of this large resource can be derived from liquids, thus making for highly appealing project economics. Local infrastructure is extensive, pipeline/processing capacity is available and some of the world's largest oil and gas companies are active in the area. A Farm-in Agreement was announced on January 16, 2012.


Mooncor is also pursuing opportunities to realize near-term value from its Lloydminster, Alberta and southwest Ontario assets, potentially through moving them into new entities. The targets in Ontario are relatively shallow and thus require modest per-well capital expenditure.
